Chris Stefano
MSW
I'm Chris! I’m someone who has always paid close attention to people, how they think, the patterns they repeat, and the things left unsaid beneath the surface. I became a therapist because I’ve seen how easy it is for people to lose themselves while trying to hold everything together on the outside. My goal is to help clients slow down, understand what is truly driving their thoughts and behaviors, and create meaningful, lasting change rather than simply talking through problems.
I work best with individuals who feel stuck in cycles they cannot seem to break, whether that shows up in relationships, anxiety, self worth, perfectionism, or the pressure to constantly keep going despite feeling disconnected underneath.
My approach to therapy is both supportive and direct. I believe real growth comes from balancing insight with action. Therapy can sometimes fall short when it stays at the surface level or focuses only on understanding patterns without creating change. I value honesty, accountability, and authenticity, and I strive to create a space where clients feel understood while also challenged in a productive and compassionate way.
I am not here to judge or give textbook responses. I want clients to feel safe enough to be real, while also feeling empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
Above all, I believe therapy should be a space where empathy and accountability coexist. Healing is not about becoming someone completely different. It is about reconnecting with yourself in a more honest, grounded, and sustainable way.
