Jessica Calys
MSW
Hi, I’m Jes. I found my way into this work as a teenager, volunteering with a local domestic violence resource center and realizing how deeply I cared about making sure people never had to face their hardest moments alone. That experience—and my own personal experiences—taught me the power of being seen, heard, and supported without judgment. That’s what I strive to offer every person I meet.
My style is warm, genuine, and human. I’m an extroverted introvert with a love for spooky things, nature, and books, and I bring that mix of curiosity, humor, and groundedness into the therapy room. I believe everyone has strengths worth uncovering, and I hold hope for you even in the moments when it feels impossible to hold it for yourself.
Clients who work with me are often trying to understand themselves more deeply, build confidence, heal from trauma, or simply “learn how to people” in a world that can feel overwhelming. I use CBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed approaches to help you sort through what feels heavy, navigate anxiety or depression, and move toward a life that feels more aligned and manageable.
I know therapy isn’t always easy, and progress isn’t always linear—but you don’t have to figure it out alone. You are worthy, capable, and stronger than you realize, and I’m here to walk alongside you as you discover that in your own time and in your own way.
